ITINERARY of 9 days Casablanca to Marrakech

Day 1: Casablanca – Arrival (approx. 20–30 km local)

Your journey begins upon arrival at Casablanca airport, where your driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. If time allows, you will enjoy a panoramic visit of the Hassan II Mosque before having free time to relax and recover from your journey.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen (approx. 340 km)

First, depart toward Rabat to visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Afterwards, continue north through the Rif Mountains until reaching Chefchaouen, where you will spend the night in a riad or hotel.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes (approx. 200 km)

In the morning, enjoy free time to explore the charming blue streets of Chefchaouen. Then, continue your journey toward Fes through scenic mountain and rural landscapes, arriving in the afternoon for check-in at your riad in the medina.

Day 4: Fes – Guided Tour (approx. 10–20 km local)

Today, enjoy a full guided tour of Fes, discovering its rich history and culture. You will visit Bab Bou Jeloud, the medieval medina, traditional tanneries, madrasas, the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the royal palace, and vibrant souks before returning to your riad.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga (approx. 470 km)

After breakfast, depart toward the Sahara Desert through the Middle Atlas Mountains. First, stop in Ifrane, then continue to the cedar forest of Azrou. Afterwards, travel to Midelt for lunch before continuing through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride into the dunes and spend the night in a Sahara desert camp.

Day 6: Merzouga – 4×4 Desert Tour (approx. 40–80 km local)

Today, explore the desert by 4×4 vehicle. You will visit nomadic families, the village of Khamlia known for Gnawa music, ancient mines, and desert oases. Later, enjoy free time relaxing near the dunes.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra – Dades Valley (approx. 250 km)

Depart toward Rissani and its traditional market. Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges for a walk through the canyon. Finally, arrive in the beautiful Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (approx. 320 km)

Travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses and Skoura. Then continue to Ouarzazate and visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou. Afterwards, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech – Airport Transfer (approx. 10–20 km local)

Depending on your flight time, enjoy some free time in Marrakech before your transfer to the airport. This marks the end of your tour.
