Itinerary of 4 days Fes to Marrakech
Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Approx. 470 km)
Departure from Fes at 8:00 AM, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to the cedar forest of Azrou, where wild Barbary macaques can often be seen.
Lunch in Midelt, then continue through the beautiful Ziz Valley with its endless palm groves.
Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. Enjoy welcome tea and your first contact with the desert. Climb the dunes to watch the sunset before dinner and overnight stay at a hotel near the desert.
Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomads – Erg Chebbi – Desert Camp (Approx. 60–80 km local)
A full day dedicated to exploring the Sahara Desert.
Visit the village of Khamlia to enjoy traditional Gnawa music, meet local nomadic families, and explore the black desert and nearby oasis areas.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes while watching the sunset over the Sahara.
Arrival at the desert camp for a traditional dinner and overnight stay in private Berber tents under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (Approx. 250 km)
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the desert dunes.
Return to Merzouga for breakfast before departing towards Rissani, where you may visit the traditional local market.
Continue to Erfoud and then to the spectacular Todra Gorges, with free time to walk through the impressive canyon.
In the afternoon, continue to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel overlooking the valley.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech (Approx. 320 km)
Departure along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses and Skoura.
Visit Ouarzazate and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Continue crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic stops along the way.
Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and transfer to your accommodation. End of the tour.
