Itinerary of 8 days Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Your driver will pick you up from the port, airport, or accommodation in Tangier to begin this journey. Travel through the Rif Mountains via Tetouan and enjoy scenic landscapes and traditional villages.

Arrival in Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted streets. Free time to explore the medina and panoramic viewpoints.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, continue through the Rif Mountains to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you will see mosaics and archaeological remains.

Then continue to Meknes to visit Bab Mansour, the old city walls, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail before arriving in Fez.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Fez

Explore Fez, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Visit the UNESCO-listed medina, tanneries, artisan workshops, and historic streets.

See the Royal Palace, Mellah (Jewish quarter), Al Quaraouiyine University, and enjoy panoramic views over the city.

Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Swiss City of Morocco”.

Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley with its palm groves and desert scenery. Pass Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga.

Camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach the desert camp. Dinner, Berber music, and overnight under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Early sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, depart toward Todra Gorges for a walk through the canyon.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Travel through the Rose Valley and the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate.

Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village used in many films.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech.

Day 7: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Discover Marrakech, the “Red City”. Visit Majorelle Garden, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace.

Day 8: Transfer to the Airport
